It’s such a pleasure to take a sneak peek into celebrity homes. You get to see how they live in an opulent lifestyle. Their homes reveal their tastes for home interiors and how they live their lives. Today we go thru the front doors of Will Smith’s house and indulge in their luxurious way of life.
The Smith’s live in an adobe-style house that has an impressive façade. The house is the collaboration of the architect Harry Perez-Daple, interior designer Judith Lance and overall design by Stephen Samuelson.
The stylish double doors were imported from a fort in India. The Holly Hunt cowhide rug is trimmed and bordered with Edelman leather.
The winding staircase has an intricate wrought-iron banister design of trees with bare branches. It’s an impressive eye-catcher once you step into the receiving area.
The living room is a showcase of designer furniture with a vintage appeal. There’s a 1930s Downtown copper lantern, 1960s Brazilian rosewood chairs and custom built lounge seating in Rose Tarlow leather.
Upon entering the living room, the huge vintage resin tusks greets you by the stairs. The ceiling is made of a massive skylight. On the left hang Moroccan lamps.
The highlight of the living room is the over scale sofa. It was custom built to fit between the two giant columns on each side. The columns are wrapped in jute rope.
The sitting area has a relaxed, nature inspired theme. Most of the furnishings have a rustic, natural appeal that extends to the rest of the home.
The dining area has walls painted in a rust colored tone setting of a warm vibe. The wooden furniture and artefacts give it a relaxing atmosphere.
This intimate sitting area is in the corner of the formal dining room. The hand-hewn teak doors reveal a chandelier of rock-crystal beads, a curved sofa and artistic twisted wire scones for hanging lights.
The kitchen has most of its furnishings in heavy dark wood. The cabinets are made from 19th century Nuristani oak panels.
